Chalk Minimal Flush, floor-to-ceiling Door Design
Nothing decorative survives unless it also does work. Long uninterrupted planes, shadow-gap joints, one quiet grain. Doors set the quality of a house before anyone touches a finish. Ironmongery and reveal detail are where the money shows.

Door questions
What is a good internal door height?
2,100mm is standard, but 2,400mm — or full slab height — makes a dramatic difference to how tall a room reads, and it costs surprisingly little more.
Are pivot doors practical?
For a wide entrance or study door, yes. They need a good floor spring and a level threshold, and they do not seal as well as a hinged door, so they are a poor choice for a bedroom or a bathroom.
Solid-core or hollow-core doors?
Solid-core everywhere you want acoustic separation — bedrooms, bathrooms, study. Hollow-core is acceptable only for utility and storage doors.
Should door frames be concealed?
A concealed frame gives the cleanest result but must be installed before plastering and costs considerably more. A slim square-edge frame is the practical compromise.
